My guide Miguel turned out to be a really good dude. He´d been a guide for the past 10 years so he knew his stuff and took it pretty seriously. On the final day he went on about how it was a great achievement to make it thru the Salkantay Trail during the rainy season...I then asked him how many people have turned back without completing it in his 10 years and he said 3. Sometimes I wonder how much gets lost with my so so Spanish...if nearly everyone can do it then....
