HuaynaPicchu

I had been at MP for maybe 6 hours when I decided to go ahead and hike up HuaynaPicchu, which is the big hill behind the city. It´s obviously pretty steep and was not an easy climb. Took me about an 75 minutes to get up there and back. I did not delay long at the top to enjoy the view as I couldn´t seem to find a comfortable spot to sit...I just really don´t like heights all that much, and the rain that began as I got to the top didn´t help make me any more comfortable. This climb helped fill me in on why many of the native Peruvians are so short...I believe the tall ones were naturally-selected out as they went tumbling down the mountainside after losing their balance. These trails are narrow and steep.
